This modernized version of Aesop’s Fables is filled with fun, humor and a bit of history.

The fight for survival begins.

An asteroid shower lands in a remote section of the Grand Canyon and begins to spread mysterious pods. Meanwhile, scientists on a space station that has been hit by the same asteroid shower, discover that a pod has mutated into a creature and is threatening the ship. Now the scientists and a team on Earth must learn to defeat this alien force, fighting fire with fire, fighting stone with stone.

In the distant future, after the collapse of civilization, the world is little more than a wasteland of dust, decay, and metal. The last vestiges of humanity huddle together in Titan Haven, a sprawling mega-town built from the ruins of old cities, a lawless fortress ruled by warring gangs.

For years, the balance of power was fragile but stable until the Black Sirens emerged. A lethal team of all-female mercenaries, the Sirens made their fortune as assassins for hire, their services sought by the richest and most powerful politicians and corporate overlords. Their influence grew too strong, their pockets too deep, and soon, the ruling gangs saw them as a threat. A coordinated attack from the five most powerful gang wiped out the Sirens in a single night. But one of them survived: Nyx.

Betrayed and hunted, she barely escapes Titan Haven as the gangs swarm the ruins of her sisterhood. But there's nowhere to hide in the city, so she is forced into the one place no sane person would dare go: The Wastes.

The desert beyond Titan Haven is a death sentence, an endless expanse of sandstorms, radiation, and twisted remnants of the old world. But the gangs don’t let go easily. They send their best hunters to chase her down and erase the last Black Siren from existence.

Nyx, alone and wounded, must use every skill she has to survive the ruthless desert while planning her revenge. Along the way, she encounters tribes and former rebels who live on the fringes, hiding from the tyranny of Titan Haven. With their help, she begins to piece together a way to strike back -- not just for herself, but for every life stolen by the five gangs.
