Two lunatics escape from a mental institution and document their quest to find a princess.

Going to America is about two romantic and ambitious lunatics, Fumnanya (Eddie Griffin) and Andy (Josh Meyers). They escape a mental institution and set out to make a movie about Fumnanya’s quest to find a princess who will reward him with a magical kiss. After overcoming various obstacles, they find their “princess”. But the princess turns out to be a burned-out prostitute (Najarra Townsend) who wants to commit suicide and she enlists Fumnanya and Andy to help her. The trio becomes an overnight sensation on YouTube as followers speculate whether the whole thing is a clever hoax or a moving, unorthodox attempt at redemption.
