Reviews:
"…a wonderful canvas for the talented actors to paint a picture of coming of age struggles and learning (and being) who you are. Those struggles and relationships are the real heart of this film. The writing and direction were tight and the film's indolent pace created the perfect mood. Two thumbs up for this one!!" – Examiner.com

"The romantic use of our great state's setting gives this drama an atmospheric sizzle. Bullard and Loritsch's fine work, contribute to the down-home, genuine sincerity of this sweet film." – Indiewire

Reviews:
"Lim is poised to defy a new set of genre norms with The House: a ghost story that blends personal drama with pointed anti-Wall Street sentiment." Vancouver Sun

"The House is a film of great complexity. Tackling different issues with a profusion of references (none of them excessive), Desiree Lim offers us an intriguing narrative that's impossible to not touch our sensibilities, since they are based on the confrontation of two human experiences that can't be avoided in our existences—the one of being sheltered and the one of dying."
